However, they prefer to limit the number of guests to a maximum of 50 thus ensuring everyone's personal comfort at all times through adequate space. Their "floating home" (Lynne & John spend Winter in the Whitsunday's personally introducing guests to the wonders of The Great Barrier Reef and Summer in Sydney on the "Best Harbour in the World"), is super luxuriously fitted in teak below deck and there is a large canopy which extends virtually the whole length of the vessel giving perfect protection in all weathers. Lynne & John have won the prestigious Australian Bridal Industry Award for Excellence for the Best Harbour Wedding Reception Vessel four years in a row (2003 through 2006!). This is particularly noteworthy because ACTUAL Bridal appraisal of our service (in a number of categories including "value for money") in their own wedding, is THE evaluation criteria on which the award is based ! "Sydney Sundancer" is also the only charter boat ever, to win both the City of Sydney Council Award for The Best Decorated Boat on New Years Eve, and The Australia Day Council's award for The Best Presented / Best Decorated Charter Boat on Sydney Harbour (2000, 2001, 2002, & 2007), so you will appreciate just how much effort they will invest in making your New Years Eve cruise so spectacular and memorable !! The American gourmet magazine "bon appetit" has written to Lynne requesting one of her recipes for publication in the USA, so you can be assured that the meal you enjoy aboard will exceed your expectation and surpass much of what is served in famous Sydney restaurants.
